SENIOR RESOURCES GEOLOGIST and LONG TERM PLANNING SUPERINTENDENT
Our client reputable foreign mining company searching for the following position :
LONG TERM PLANNING SUPERINTENDENT ( LTPS)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the development of geological models and ensure models are validated and meet requirements
- Coordinate strategic mine planning and pit optimization and effectively communicate the strategic plan to management
- Ensure the pit, panel, dump and dewatering designs follow the mine strategy, are practical and optimized
- Ensure that mining and dumping schedules meet long term and strategic objectives, and are effectively communicated
- Ensure that risk is assessment process is completed for all mine designs and that controls are in place
- Ensure that technical procedures and standards are maintained and updated to ensure that geological modeling and mine planning process are effective.
SENIOR RESOURCES GEOLOGIST (SRG)
Responsibilities:
- Build and validate geological models for coal deposits by using Minex software and following the company procedures
- Wok closely with exploration to ensure that geological interpretations are correct, and that the exploration database is accurate and meets the company standards
- Work closely with mine planning to ensure that geological models are effectively communicated and hand over according to SAR technical process
- Conduct reconciliations of geological models on regular basis to ensure that models are as accurate as possible any problems are fixed.
General requirements:
- Male and min Bachelor (S1) of mining engineering for Long Term Planning Superintendent position and geology engineering for Senior Resources Geologist from good reputable university
- Min 3 years experience for Senior Resources Geologist and min 6 years experience for Long Term Planning Superintendent for coal mining projects
- Has good communication in English (both oral and writing)
- Has knowledge to make mine design, schedule, and plans to meet production target
- Familiar Ms. Office, Visual Basic, AutoCad 2005, Corel Draw 12, RockWork2004, Mincom mindscape 1.4.1.5, MINEX 4.1. J Talpac, Xpac
- Hard working, loyal, good team work
- Will be placed in Balikpapan office and often to work in project sites in Sebuku and Jembayan.
