Mining Engineering
Responsibilities:
Monitor, control and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.
Identify the development and training needs of the mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations for the benefit of the Project Manager.
Co-ordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team to ensure smooth operations at loading points.
Control production on an hour by hour basis and prepare timely and accurate reports on project progress as requires by the project.
Assist Mining Superintendent in liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance departement to optimize and maximize mining equipment availability and utilization in achieving production target.
Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan.
Requirements:
Male, max. Age 40 years old
Having 3 years working experience as Mine Manager and heavy equipment operating experience at coal mining company
Good leadership and hard working
Good English knowledge – verbally & written
Computer literate
High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Strong administrative skills
A knowledge of SAP, Modular Mining, and MS Office is a plus
Open Pit Mining experience is an advantage
An effective communicator with the ability to develop positive working relations across a multitude of business units.
